May Favorites: L’Oréal, ELF, Hey Honey + MORE!

I can’t believe it’s already June! This year has just flown by. I’m back today with another favorites post and we’re going to be talking about all of the things that I’ve been loving during the month of May!! I feel like this is the longest favorites post I’ve had in a while, so let’s go ahead and get into all of the beauty and lifestyle items.

L’Oréal Infalliable “Amber Rush”

I am so in love with this shadow!! This is such a beautiful shade to put all over your lid and it adds such a shimmery pop to your eyes. This is so flattering and beautiful, and I’ve seriously used it almost every single day since I bought it.

L’Oréal True Match Lumi Highlighter “Ice”

This is another product that I’ve been using every day. I love the shiny glow this gives my skin, and I’m dying to get my hands onto the rose gold shade in this line.

L’Oréal Magic BB Cream

I’ve gotten back into this BB Cream lately, and I’ve been loving it so much during the month of May. This is so lightweight on the face and I love that it applies easily with your fingers. I’ve been reaching for this over my foundations lately, and I love the lighter coverage for spring and summer.

ELF Lip Exfoliator “Coconut”

This convienent little lip scrub has made me want to exfoliate my lips every day, and my lips are looking so smooth and soft because of it. It’s so much easier to just use the tube of lip scrub than sticking my finger or a toothbrush into a pot of lip scrub and applying it to my lips. I also LOVE the smell and taste of this, it’s got such an awesome coconut scent.

Simple Cleansing Makeup Remover Wipes

I keep these wipes at my bedside and use them on the nights that I don’t want to get up and wash my makeup off. These have been so handy! They take my makeup off super fast, and I never have to work very hard to get my eye makeup off. I really love these and even though they’re a little bit more expensive than the Target brand wipes, I think they’re totally worth it and I’ll continue to buy them!

Adesse Nail Polish “Surfer Girl”

I’ve been wearing this super gorgeous bright blue polish for basically the whole month of May. I love how vibrant this is for spring and summer, and the formula wears almost a full week on my nails.

Hey Honey Besame Mucho Lip Balm

This lip balm is the best! I love that it’s in a squeeze tube instead of a stick, especially during the hot summer months when I want to keep a balm in my car. This is so incredibly moisturizing on my lips, and I love that it leaves a glossy finish.

Dollar Tree/TJMaxx Planter (DIY)

I’ve got a little lifestyle favorite for you this month! I got these little succulents from the Dollar Tree and I got the pot at TJMaxx on clearance for $2! This whole piece of decor set me back $5 and I’ve been obsessed with it!! This is my favorite piece in my house right now.

April Favorites

I’m back with the latest installment in my monthly favorites series!! These are my favorite posts to do for you guys every month, and I hope you’re all still loving them as much as I do! I’ve had a lot of repeat favorites this month of things that I’ve mentioned in previous months, and it’s a struggle not to repeat favorites but I’m trying my best! Let’s get into this month’s products:

Vintage Highlighter “Rose Gold”

Finger swatch on the right, blended out swatch on the left

I brought this highlighter on vacation with me when we went to Atlanta at the beginning of the month, and having it with me really made me rediscover how much I love this product! This gives such a beautiful duo-chrome look to the cheeks, and it gives such a pretty rose gold glow to my fair skin. I’ve been using this almost every single day instead of saving it for special occasions like I used to, and it’s seriously stunning.

Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette

I’ve been loving this palette so much! As you can see, I’ve gotten a lot of use out of the neutrals and I’ve even dipped into the more dramatic burgandy colors a little bit as well. The shades Vermeer and Buon Fresco are definitely my favorites out of the palette, and I love that it’s a mostly matte palette as well. I wasn’t planning on buying this originally, but I’m so happy that I gave it a chance.

Smashbox Insta Matte Transforming Topcoat

If you missed my ColourPop Lippie Stix Review post, I mentioned that I really didn’t like the formula of the color “Aquarius” but the shade was my favorite of the three that I’ve purchased so far. I was about to pass it on to someone else when I found this little Smashbox lipstick transformer tucked in the back of my lipstick drawer. I decided to try it with Aquarius, and it made the lipstick matte and budgeproof and I’ve been able to wear it so many times because the formula isn’t sliding all over my lips anymore!! I’m so impressed with this lipstick transformer, and I think that EVERYONE should try it out. It turns a terrible formula into a velvet matte formula instantly, and it’s honestly one of the coolest and most innovative makeup products I’ve ever used.

Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer

I’ve been loving this concealer from Rimmel this month!! I bought this toward the end of February and I just finished up my other under eye concealer, so I’ve just started to really use the Match Perfection every day. This concealer is so high coverage and I love the brush applicator! It blends out beautifully and really makes my face look super highlighted and beautiful.

Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo

I finished up my sample size of the Amika dry shampoo, and I’m so sad that this product is gone because it was such a gem! I love the scent of this, and I love that it makes my hair feel so clean without leaving white powder residue on my roots. I’m seriously going to miss this product (which says a lot because I LOVE my Batiste dry shampoos) and I might just have to splurge on it sometime in the future (hubby take note for future birthdays, anniversary’s, and Christmas).

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope that you enjoyed hearing about what I’ve been loving during the month of April. What have your favorite products been this month? Let me know in a comment down below! I’ll talk to you soon!!

March Beauty Favorites

I’m back with another installment in my monthly favorites series! I’ve got some products to share that I’ve been really obsessed with, and these are all things that I’ve been using every single day for weeks! Let’s get into the products.

Wet n Wild Liquid Catsuit Lipstick “Rebel Rose”

This is one of my all time favorites, let alone a monthly favorite. This is hands down my favorite lipstick of all time after having used it for this month. I’m obsessed with the lasting power of this, I love the shade of it, and it isn’t even drying or uncomfortable to wear all day. I’m not going to go on and on about this here because this lipstick actually has its own separate review post, but just know that you NEED to run out and get this lipstick.

Manna Kadar Highlighter “Paradise”

I got this eyeshadow in one of my very last Birchboxes, and I actually had this set aside to declutter since I didn’t like it as a shadow or a blush. I decided that I would give it one last shot and try it out as a highlight before I gave it away, and I’m so glad that I did. This is such a beautiful highlighter shade! I absolutely love how much of a glow this gives to my cheeks, and I’m super glad I decided to keep it and try it out.

Dirty Little Secret Cosmetics Blush “Kitty Pink”

I got this blush in my March Ipsy, and I’ve been OBSESSED with it. I’ve worn this blush every singe day since I got it, and it’s the most beautiful color for spring! This is probably one of my top 3 favorite blushes of all time.

Beau Gachis Tapered Blending Brush

This is another item from my March Ipsy bag, and this brush is incredible for highlighter. This adds so much concentrated product because of the size of the brush, so it really makes my cheeks shine. This brush is so soft too, which makes me really want to check out this brand and see what else they have to offer.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

I know that in the past I’ve sworn that I would never buy a high end eyeliner, but that was before I tried this little guy. I got this as a 100 point perk from Sephora, and I think I might just be in love. This makes winged eyeliner SO EASY.

I hope you enjoyed hearing all about the products I’ve been loving this month! Let me know in a comment down below if you’d like me to feature any of these products in their own separate review post, and thank you so much for stopping by! I’ll see you next time!

February Favorites!

Welcome back to my blog!! Today we’re going to be talking about all of the beauty items I’ve been loving during the month of February. I have a whole category of favorites posts if you’re interested in seeing more of the products I love, but other than that, let’s get into it!

ColourPop “I ❤ This” Super Shock Shadow

I’ve been obsessed with this shadow ever since I mentioned it in my ColourPop Haul, and I’ve actually already hit pan on it! This adds such a beautiful glittery pop to any eyeshadow look, and the glitter stays in place very well. I love that this doesn’t have any fallout on my cheeks throughout the day.

Tarte “Exposed” Blush

I’ve been getting back into using my Tarte Exposed blush, and I hit pan on it this month!!!!! I haven’t hit pan on a blush in years, so I was so shocked and excited when I saw that little bit of pan peeking through. This blush is awesome and it’s such a natural and flattering color on me.

Beau Gachis Makeup Sponge

I got this makeup sponge in my July 2016 ipsy, and I just started getting back into using a makeup sponge. I’ve got to say, I’m pretty obsessed with this guy! I forgot how much I love the way a sponge applies my foundation and concealer, and it definitely saves me time in the morning because of how quick and easy it is to blend my makeup.

Makeup Eraser Dupe

I found a dupe for the Makeup Eraser cloth at TJMaxx, and I’ve been loving it! I did a whole post about how I remove my makeup, and this cloth is even better than the microfiber cloths I was using before.

I hope you enjoyed hearing about all of the things I’ve been loving during February! Thanks so much for stopping by, and I’ll see you next time.

January Favorites!

Hello lovelies! I hope your start to 2017 has been wonderful. Today I’m going to be sharing all of my favorite things from the month of January.

Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette

I got the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette for Christmas, and I’ve used it every single day since I opened it. I absolutely love how neutral the shades are, and Too Faced’s eyeshadow formula is absolutely amazing! Every single shadow is buttery and blends wonderfully. I’ve been obsessed with this palette all month long.

Real Techniques Setting Brush

I’ve had my eye on this little brush for months now, and hubby surprised me with it for Christmas! I absolutely adore this for blending concealer and powder under my eyes. It’s such a soft, good quality brush and I’ve been using it nonstop all month long.

L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara

I’ve taken a break from this mascara for the last few months after I used up my last tube, but I recently went out and repurchased it again, and I’ve noticed a HUGE difference in the way that my lashes look now that I’m layering with this mascara again. This seriously makes my eyelashes look like falsies (cliche, I know. But I’m 1000% not exaggerating this. They actually look fake because of how voluminous this mascara makes them). I can’t believe I went so long without this, and it’s definitely a must-have in my collection. If you haven’t tried this mascara, you need to RUN to Target and pick it up.

Wet n Wild One Step Wonder Gel Polish “Stay Classy”

This nail polish shocked me the first time I used it. I absolutely loved the mauve pink shade, and the formula blew me away. It’s truly a “one coat” polish, and it’s crazy affordable too! I definitely recommend trying this line of polish out.

ELF Matte Lipstick “Natural”

I’ve been wearing this ELF Matte Lipstick in the shade “Natural” almost every single day this month. I absolutely love the “my lips but better” shades, and this formula is matte without being drying.

American Eagle Earrings

I got an American Eagle gift card for my birthday last month, so I ordered some earrings from them and I’m IN LOVE with them!!! They have the most adorable earring sets, and I’ve seriously been wearing every single pair of them nonstop.

December Favorites

Today I’ve got a short post sharing all of the things that I’ve been obsessed with during the month of December! I had an amazing Christmas and birthday this year, and I’ve been loving the cold weather and snow. Let’s get into my favorite products of the month!

Fresh Sparkling Snow Shea Body Cream

This is my favorite winter scent, and Bath & Body Works definitely has the best body cream formula! I put this on every morning when I put on my wedding ring, and my hands have stayed soft and smooth even during the dry winter months.

Revlon Colorstay + Maybelline Shine Free

This has been my holy grail foundation/powder duo since summertime, and I’m still loving it 6 months later. This keeps my super oily skin at bay, and I love how flawless my face looks with this duo.

Nivea – A Kiss of Mint and Minerals lip balm

I use this every morning when I’m doing my makeup, and I love that this is minty without being Peppermint flavored or tingly. This is definitely the best mint lip balm I’ve ever used, and I love that this is just lightweight and smooth on my lips in the morning.

Luxie 205 Tapered Blending brush and Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush

This is the most amazing eyeshadow brush duo I’ve ever used! I love using the Luxie brush for applying a light base all over and using the Real Techniques brush to apply my crease color. These brushes are both super affordable as well, and I definitely recommend trying them out.

I hope you enjoyed my super short December favorites! I’ve been using a lot of the same stuff this month that I mentioned in my November favorites, but I got tons of new goodies for Christmas that I can’t wait to talk about in my January favorites so stay tuned! Thank you so much for stopping by, and I wish you nothing but the best moving into 2017!!

November Favorites!

I’ve got a whole bunch of awesome products to share with you that I’ve been loving all throughout the month of November! I’m so excited that it’s finally December. Not only is it my birthday month, but it’s also the month of my favorite holiday: Christmas!! Let’s get into the faves.

Benefit Coralista Box Blush

I purchased this blush around the end of summer (I got it for $10 off the Birchbox website back when they still gave points for reviewing!) and I haven’t really gotten any use out of it until now. I love the beautiful shimmery coral flush this gives my cheeks, and I think this is going to be my go-to blush this upcoming spring and summer!

Sephora Z Palette

I finally bought a Z Palette after I took apart my Naked 2 palette (tragic, I know! It was so old that one of the shadows had broken into 3 chunks and fell right out so I figured I might as well just take apart the whole thing. It’s just not the same with one of the shades missing anyway). I also decided to depot the Studio Makeup palette that I got in my September BoxyCharm, and I’m so happy to have the few shades that I love and not have to bother with the rest of them. Plus this small Z Palette is exactly the size I wanted and it was only $10!

Natural Eyes with No Liner

I’ve been loving super natural shadow with a light coat of mascara and no liner. I don’t know what it is about this time of year, but I always want to go natural when the weather gets colder. My go-to shades have been from the Studio Makeup palette that I received in my September BoxyCharm and my favorite mascara has been the L’oreal Miss Manga mascara.

Golden Pear and Brown Sugar

I’ve been completely obsessed with the Golden Pear and Brown Sugar scent from Bath & Body Works (for the second month in a row now). It smells just like cookies, and I think it’s the perfect transition scent from fall to winter, and it’s quickly become my favorite holiday fragrance!

OGX In-Shower Oil

I picked this oil up after I finished both of my deep conditioners, and I absolutely love it. It’s so versatile, and you can add it to shampoo, conditioner, body wash, or even face wash to add a little extra moisture. I love mixing this in with my normal conditioner to add a little deep conditioning boost.

I hope you enjoyed hearing all of the things I’ve been loving during November! Thank you so much for stopping by!!
