My Top 5 Face Powders

I’m continuing my top 5 series today with my top 5 face powders! These are all from the drugstore because I find that drugstore powders are the most easily accessible (and who doesn’t love a good powder under $10?!). I have very oily skin, so these are all mattifying powders to help keep my makeup from getting shiny, so if you have very dry skin, I don’t know how much you would like these, but here are my top 5 powders!

5. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder “Light”

They’ve reformulated this powder since I used mine up, but I liked this and I definitely want to pick up another one of these. Even thought it’s called “stay matte”, it gave a natural finish more than a matte finish on my skin back when I was using it all the time.

4. Revlon ColorStay Powder “Translucent”

I remember really liking this powder, but I haven’t actually used it in a couple of years. I don’t use this with the Revlon Color Stay foundation, but this is a really good matte powder.

3. Maybelline Dream Matte Powder

This powder is discontinued, so I probably shouldn’t even be putting this on the top 5 list, but I thought I would mention it so that if any of you have tried it before, you can kind of get an idea for the type of powders that I like. This was the most mattifying powder I’ve ever used, and I was so sad when they got rid of this from their line!

2. Maybelline Shine Free Loose Powder “Light”

I love this powder with my Revlon Colorstay foundation, and I think that the loose powder version of this gives the most beautiful matte natural finish. This keeps my skin looking like skin while helping my very oily skin to stay matte.

1. Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless “Translucent”

My number one favorite powder is the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless! This keeps me matte the longest and I love how the translucent powder makes my skin look. If you have oily skin and you haven’t tried this powder, you definitely should!!
