Tarte “Tartelette” Palette vs. “Tartelette in Bloom” Palette

Today, I’m putting two amazing Tarte eyeshadow palettes head to head: Tartelette vs. Tartelette in Bloom.

Tarte’s eyeshadows are amazing quality, and there’s a reason Tarte is one of my favorite makeup brands. When I purchased the Tartelette in Bloom, I was shocked at how pigmented and buttery the super soft shadows were, and the Tartelette palette didn’t disappoint either.

Let’s start out with the basics. Both palettes sell for $45 and have 12 (gorgeous) shades. The Tartelette palette is an entirely matte palette, while the Tartelette in Bloom features 3 shimmery shades and 9 mattes. This is really the biggest difference between the two, the pan sizes are the same and the packaging, mirror, font, etc. are all the same.

What drew me into the Tartelette palette was the beautiful grey-toned purple shades in combination with the warm and cool browns. I thought it was such a unique combination that you could really get a beautiful range of looks from.

What I love about the Tartelette in Bloom palette is actually (surprisingly) the shimmery shades, Firecracker in particular. I’m usually a strictly matte neutrals kind of girl, but I really love the looks I can get using the shimmery colors in this palette!

Let’s get into the swatches!

These are two of my all time favorite eyeshadow palettes, and whichever one you go with, you’re going to get incredible pigmentation and beautiful, creamy, buttery shades. I recommend Tartelette in Bloom if you like shimmery shades, and Tartelette if you’re wanting cool-toned purple shades.

I hope you enjoyed my review/comparison of the Tartelette and the Tartelette in Bloom palettes. Have you tried either of these palettes? Let me know in a comment. Thanks for stopping by!!
